I need punk hair styles for thin, shoulder lenth hair. what can i use to make my hair have more volume?

Don't say punk in public, ever. Labeling is lame, especially kids who label themselves.
For volume, after you wash your hair, tie it up in a high, loose ponytail. It has to be loose so you don't end up with a crease. Wait an hour or so, and untie it. You can also try backcombing. Take a section of hair and hold it straight up, and backcomb it from the tips to the roots. This will give it a lot of volume, but it doesn't look that good on hair with really short layers.

Punk style for thin shoulder length hair. Just go bald. If you want to keep your hair length, try liberty spike.

try getting your hair cut with a razor and lots of layers. straightening that hairstyle and getting gel and running your fingers through the tips makes it kinda spikey and punkish.
maybe get some streaks aswell!
for some volume...use a nice shampoo.
but don't use pantene volumizing...it puts a gross film on your hair to make it thicker. the film makes it seem like you recently went swimming...

Cut it really short and spike it, JUST IN THE BACK and get the color gel then, slick down the front and done

If you want to add some volumen to you hair i suggest you use the special shampoo hairapy(sunsilk) it will raise you volumen while still leaving your hair flawless and repaired.
