First thing to check is the user manual - look through the index for PIP and go to the relevant page where it will or won't be explained.
If it has PIP, it will probably have 1 tuner with a splitter allowing you to sample (generally) up to 12 optional channels - samples for 2 - 3 seconds then freezes until it recycles and updates itself after the twelfth channel has been sampled. Main picture normally remains in the centre of the screen. There should be a PIP button on the remote commander - something similar to a 'text symbol (again the user manual will show you).
If you want to change to a previewed channel, move around the PIP's using the cursor buttons, and pressing enter / ok when the selected one is highlighted.

Assuming the TV has PIP.
You need two sources; say TV and an input from the DVD or VCR, etc.
On your remote, press PIP and follow instructions.
You can't see two TV channels unless you have two tuners (say one from a set-top box and one from the off-the-air antenna)
