i would print out those pictures of how you want your hair to look and take it to your hairstylist!
the reason being is that everyone does not think the same thing when they hear "dirty blonde hair," and opinions vary from person, so your hairstylist might need a better description to go off of.

Well, you may want your stylist to deal with that. They know many things about fashion so they may be able to help you.
By the ways, you reminded me, I have vary unusual hair, it is black and brown. In the light, it looks like light brown or medium brown but when it is more dark, it's basically a shade of dark black. It's like my hair changes to different colors depending on the type of place or how bright it is. So, in low light but not dark, it's just plain brown or a tiny bit darker then brown.

with the color just take a picture of her and say that u would like to have ur hair colored like that and the style just take the picture to ur stylist and say u would like ur hair cut like this. so ur gonna ask ur stylist to color ur hair like Fergie's hair and to cut it like Naomi Watt's hair.

The best answer for both is to take both of the pictures taht you like to the salon and show them to your stylist.
Stylists work best with visuals, because there are many different shades that can be considered dirty blonde and many variations of shoulder length. If you know what you like, show them!
