If you are paying attention at all, most nations across the world are angry and disapprove of what has happened. These means it is more than Muslims who are upset. Most people understand his crimes deserved punishment, but they feel the situation was handled improperly. I agree.

The man was convicted of hundreds of thousands of killings. Think of this. A man interviewed that was in a Saddam jail said his 2 cell mates were pulled out for trial. Only 1/2 hr. later he heard them walking to the back of the bldg. Then gunshots and that was the end of their lives. That was their sad fate that not too many will hear about except their own forlorn families.

A death of a muslim , and that too decided by Bush(ofcourse jury was under his influence), with worst edge is that first america used him for thier benifit and then executed him once they entered in iraq !!! and then threw him out off the face of earth like a used tissue paper, how pitty !!! Well if saddam is given that punishment, bush is worse than him, he deserves that punishment million time more than saddam .....justice should be for all !!!!

Who else is astonished that SOME Muslims are outraged? The big story is how many are celebrating.

There are 1,300,000,000 Muslims in the world - generalising about such a large group is incredibly idiotic so ipso facto you're an idiot.

In any case didnt you see pictures of Muslims in Iraq and Dearborn celebrating ? they didnt look outraged to me- but bigots see what they want to see

Perhaps a better question is why Americans were outraged at 3,000 of them being killed on 9/11 but dont care about and even celebarate the millions slaughtered by them in Vietnam,Iraq
Afghanistan etc

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price--we think the price is worth it.

Well, Saddam was a hero for a lot of Muslims in Iraq, I think they were Sunni since he was as well..
And Shiite hated him a lot, because of his past actions

Muslims felt that the timing was very wrong, since today is the begining of Eid Al-Adha... It in a way insulting to those who supported him...

What makes you think Muslims are outraged? I'm a Muslim I'm not outraged. I would like to know however when will Bush have to pay in the same way for killing thousands of innocent Muslim men, women and children? Or is justice just a one way street. Justice for one, justice for all!

Who says Muslims are outraged? Your a joke as is your question. Because the man was a Muslim does not mean we love him! I'll tell you what i am "astonished" at, stereotype, hype believing, sheep's like you are aloud to use forks to eat your evening meal. Do they have to put a cork on the end so you don't take out an eye? Outraged? Ha what a joke!

Go Shaybani you give him what for. Well said!!

Numbers 35:29-31 So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

30 Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.

31 Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.

I'm not surprised. I'm also not surprised that they don't care about their fellow Muslims that Saddam had raped, tortured and killed. Just like they don't care about the innocent Iraqis still being killed by other Muslims. They don't care that Sunnis and Shiites (excuse the spelling) are killing each other. It's all so sad.

May God Bless you. Happy New Year.
