Unfortunately, the most comfortable shoes can tend to be the ugliest...you know "granny" shoes, like Dr. Scholls or the like.

Rubber heels and soles will help cushion your feet so your back and feet aren't taking the blow.

Crocs are okay, but dangerous in a situation around grease (could make you slip/fall), so I would avoid those.

They also do not provide the stability you need, and over time, will not do good, no matter how good they feel right off.

I would go to an actual shoe store and ask them their recommendations of their product in stock for the best shoes for your situation.

Crocs are great shoes. They are very comfortable and also great for in kitchens. They were originally made for on boats so they have great grip and dont leave any marks. You can spray them off with the hose or even wash them in the shower. Great shoes for kitchens and very comfortable. You should be able to get them in most shoe stores. I have several pairs and love them. There are several 'copy-cat' brands which arent as comfortable or durable, so be sure to get the original ones. =-)

um...runners but those usually don't look very nice....so i would say maybe wedges or something with a low and/or thick heel if you want to look pretty, but if you really don't care then get crocs...truthfully i think they are definitely not the most appealing shoes but they are very comfortable ;)

i can second the crocs they are very very comfortable, i wear them everywhere and i love them.....they are really ugly, but my friend made me try them on and i loved them, now i wear them with everything!

mine are extremely slippery though, people say they are non-slip or something....I slipp all the time, i always catchit but still....they are croc brand....and it might have been because i have worn the sole flat.

dr. scholls loafers. They have padding in the shoes, they are so comfortable. You can get them at target or walmart.

Find nursing clogs or chef's clogs. They're the best.
