I'm an American living in Mexico and I get the same treatment from alot of Mexicans.
People are people - some good - some not so good.
But it's the same everywhere.
Just be thankful for what you have and what you can make of it, whoever you are and wherever you are.
By the way, I think your grammar is a lot better than many Americans on here=)

That is true how many willing to lay sod, or mow lawns, bricklay, shovel dirt I dont see many 20 year American kids doing it anymore????? Bigoty, igorance in the immigration debate really denies the realty of the situation. The only way to immigrate to America is pretty much win the lottery of green cards, or be PHD or someone with 6 to 8 years of schooling after Highschool.
Mexican immigration occured for 100s of years, but the nativists only 20% off the population the majority want a more transrparent and legal system.

because most "americans" look at the crimes that were done by a "FEW" hispanics and put it on the whole race. and im sorry but i cant say that every mexican ive ever met was very nice. considerate to me, and a good person, but of course i couldnt say that about most white people, black people, asians ect...its just the fact taht they HAVE to blame everything on someone and at the moment the mexicans seem to be in the place to do it to. i dont treat anyone with disrespect unless they actually deserve it. i have plenty of hispanic friends (i am caucasion btw) and i love them like my family. and (to the people who think that all mexicans are lazy) look at ur own race, how many white "trailer trash" familes do u see who dont even try to get respect or work or do anything to educate urself....and to the blacks, i know black people who are just plain lazy and all they want to do is sit around and look cool or whatever, and im not trying to stereotype. im not that kind of person, im just trying to explain that not just one race is like that. i know plenty of black people who did something with their lives that made them do great things (DUH!) and same with every other race.. its just every SINGLE person is different, it doesnt matter what color they are or where they came from or who is their family or whatever their background. i am sorry that whites act like they are the superior race...most of them are just too close minded and ignorant to see the big picture of it all.

Just about EVERY American will answer this question saying how its all the Mexicans fault why they are treated the way they are(illegal...disrespectful...greedy...need to learn English).....but the real reasons why Mexicans are treated wrong by Americans is because AMERICANS are disrespectful and ignorant!!!!!!!
O and I'm an American and believe that people should be treated the same no matter what race they are!!!!!

If you are a legal tax paying and contributing member of the American society, then you should be treated with equal respect.
If not you should be arrested and sent back to where you came from without any chance of return, because you are a criminal and a burden to an overtaxed society.

You are right, and you may get many answers denying it and saying they are only against "ILLEGAL aliens." The truth though, is that an anti Latino feeling is forming in America because the majority of illegal immigrants come from Latin America. People won't admit this, since they can't look at themselves like others look at them. Just to prove it, I have seen many insults against Mexicans that post questions asking on how to fix their legal status like "Go back to Mexico!" or "You should've done it LEGALLY." But if a British person asks something like that, the answers will be MUCH nicer. Just look at how many thumbs down I'll get on this answer, they know I'm saying the truth.
