First of all, not all states have the death penalty. Iraq, as a country, does. It might not actually be a legal possiblity in the US.
Second, Mr. Hussein was legally convicted in a open trial. Similiar proceedings would have be brought against Mr. Bush.
Third Mr. Hussein was convicted - demonstrated to have actually broken laws for which the death penalty was punishment. I'm not certain that the same could be done against Mr. Bush.
Mr. Bush *might* have grounds for impeachement, but I'm not even sure of that.
True, his policies and actions have been horrible at times, but the "bad things" are of a different class. We can't just go hanging people for everything we don't like - that way lies anarchy.

You must be out of your mind. Saddam ordered genocide on his own people and was convicted by them.
Bush genuinely tries to defend the country, even if he is not doing that good of a job.

Bush didn't commit genocide. I think murdering over 180,000 people warrants the death penalty. On the other hand, going to Iraq to bring justice to Saddam and democracy and peace to the people does not warrant a death penalty. In contrast, Bush should be given a freaking medal!
