How can I stop my neihbor's dogs from barking at me when I go out onto the deck of my house?

Is there an effective device that I can use? Of course, I've already spoken to the dog's owner.

If you have already spoken with the owner, and they won't do anything about it, it's time to file a complaint with animal control or the police. When your neighbor starts getting fines for noise violations and not properly controlling their dogs, they'll do something about it.

Create a positive, dominant energy sort of towards the dogs. Hold your posture up and shoulders back, look them in eye and when they start barking, go SHHHH!

It's very difficult to stop dogs from barking. Even special devices that emmit a sound that is supposed to hurt the dog's ears and thus make it stop barking do not work. I guess the only thing you could try is a dog whistle...

yeah you can call the cops and complain because obviously the owner is an a**hole and doesn't take care of his dogs. there are plenty of things he can do to stop that. but if you want to be the nice guy, go over to the fence with some small treats and see if you can get the dogs to sit then give a treat. then i suppose if your rude neighbor doesn't like that, call the cops.

Maybe buy a box milk bones and toss them to him to him, and he will like you. A cheap investment for peace and quiet. If the owner doesn't like it then tell him to shut the dog inside the house and keep him quiet.
