America executes people all the time. Are you wondering about a specific person? No one has been executed in or by the United States in a few weeks.
But if you are referring to the ex-President of Iraq, his country tried and executed him. By their own Justice System established by their Constitution. Iraq is a sovereign nation.

First of all, the christian nation you are talking about is not a christian nation... do not be decieved... religion has nothing to do with this, or with the politics of the U.S...
Are you all upset over one man, when so openly your country has had the honor of annoucning death tolls of civil iraqis and iraqis throughout the duration of time since the iraqi war...
Do not confuse the people that deserve to be killed from those that dont be... Saddam was a murderer and killed over 400,000 civillians. The man should not just be executed ... if it were possible to bring him back to life and re-execute him again, that process should be done some 400,000 times to make things fair. Do not complain about the execution of one murderous man and blame the so called christian nation for it. To begin with, the christian nation should not have invaded and kiled so many innocent people only to find no weapons of mass destruction. I think by observing your country go into war was proof enough that your nation is not a christian one... no moral being would tolerate what your country did...
Nonetheless, regardless of what happened, the execution of Saddam brought many people justice... but to achieve that justice, the U.S killed many people as well... how you choose to justify your position and where you stand is up to you... I just see this execution as perhaps one of the few thigns - if not the only thing - that is right about the whole thing.

While I don't agree that he should've been hanged (he should've spent his life in prison) your facts are incorrect. The United States (America covers more than the U.S.) did not execute Sadaam Hussein. The Iraqi government did.
Lawyers in the U.S. attempted a stay of execution, but the U.S. judge had to rightly rule that we cannot enforce our laws on another country. I would like to also note for you that not all U.S. citizens believe our country should have invaded Iraq. And, that number grows daily.
Btw, I'm not a christian so the sarcasm is lost on me.

I believe it was another country...
half dozen Baathists are currently on trial. Their crimes are as follow: Al-Dujail Shia massacre (1982), Anfal campaign (1987), gassing the Kurdish population of Halabja (1988), the invasion of Kuwait (1991), crushing of the Shiite and Kurdish uprisings (1991), crimes against the Fayili Kurds (1970s-1980s), draining of the marshes (1980s), massacre of 8,000 Barzani Kurds (1983), and countless religious and political killings.
