Religion is systematic, and can be ascribed to and performed completely apart from any personal knowledge, or revelation of God's existence. It is the practice of talking a lot about God, and having a lot of 'good deeds' and lots of activities, programs, observances, rules, and traditions that are not God ordained - yet all of these do not have any display of God's miraculous power, or the reality of God's Spiritual presence. In other words, religion can go right on as it always has, and do what it has always done and never for one minute miss the presence of the Holy Spirit of God should He be departed. Religion can be done all with mere human effort. There is no life of God in it.
God is a Spirit. Jesus Christ said as much. That was hardly a mystery up until the time He acknowleged that, either. It has always been known that God is a Spirit. In the New Testament, His presence is revealed as the 'Holy Spirit.' And so He is. All that is true and real and of value is a fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in accordance with what He has revealed to us through His Son Jesus Christ, and revelation of the true meaning of the written word of God by the person of the Holy Spirit.
Spiritual Christians act in accordance with the Spirit of God. Religious people have it completely mapped out in advance, because they have no intention of acknowledging or following the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

I think that one could argue that religion as we know it today, originated with spirituality. Yes, you certainly can be spiritual without belonging to an organized religion. You need to define your terms when asking this type of question because people apply different meanings to the terms "spirituality and religion".

I really never thought of it like that, but I have to agree. And this would be no matter what you believe spiritually.
Using the Biblical definition of "religion" as in James 1:27 "Pure religion, and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world". You have to believe in something spiritually to follow this definition of religion.
I realize you weren't, necessarily looking for a Christian response, but here it is any way.

Yes Religion must be part of spirituality, because we have to follow the rules set fourth by God to please Him But one who becomes more advanced sees God everywhere and in everything trying to please Him and serve Him. They are beyond religious designations though. - churchianity. They understand the Truth of all religions. Krishna says in The Gita- As long as their is a decline in religious principals and the truth appears to be lost, I appear again and again or send my representative to reestablish the truth." That is why so many religions because man misconstrues them so God or his representative has to come again and again.

I Agree. I don't like the organised part of religions. Why can we not have a personal relationship with our "god"?
As long as we follow the principles and not harm anyone, seems pretty simple. I want to impress my "god" not fellow humans in a church. He will judge me.

This section even inspite of the fact it somewhat is in line with many different concept "systems" wherein each and every physique thinks they have the nicely suited answer and not something would desire to be oftentimes happening, for this reason the "hate speeches" ensue. One shouldn't experience overly dissatisfied approximately solutions given inspite of the shown fact that. they're basically evaluations in lots of situations, with different interpretations positioned on them. many human beings like this website for the different "unique" solutions that human beings provide. Others like it for the humor. Others additionally like it for the help they are able to offer or receive. i don't think of it somewhat is an inherently one-sided website, or one that could be a breeding floor for a hate speech. it somewhat is a communicate board for answering questions with the solutions we have faith in. in line with risk you will desire to loosen up, or bypass to a different website in case you detect it so obnoxious or bigoted!
