i like this guy and he's 5 yr. older than me. have any idea what i should do? i'm 12 and he's 17. and if you're going to ask if likes me don't ask. he doesn't.

If he doesn't like you then let it be. Also as much I as am going to contradict myself on this one, go for someone closer to your age. When you are 12 5 years is a huge age gap. When you get older it won't matter as much.

You can't be serious! You are a child and he is a man. You have nothing in common, and the only thing he thinks about is sex. You need to stick with boys your own age, and not be in a hurry to grow up. Enjoy your time and take it slow. If this 17 year old is pursuing you, then it is against the law. Contact an adult, teacher or councillor, or better yet, the police.

When I was younger I dated someone with the same age difference as you. I now see that was a mistake because I lost my virginity to him and he dumped me shortly after. For now, it's best to stick with guys 1 and not more than 2 years older than you. Even 1 year younger is cool. Good luck

Forget about it as he is way too old to be interested in someone your age. You can daydream about your future and finding someone like him but that is it, it's a dream. Go out and enjoy your life while you can and quit trying to pretend that your older then you are. Gosh your still a young child and so should be going out and hanging around the same.

This is normal! Don't feel bad about the age difference, and who cares what others think.....I CERTANLY DON'T!
My sis is married to a guy that's 15 years older than she, and they live happily, so do what you wish and good luck!

You're not a teenager yet, date someone closer to your age. You might bump into him when you're older and by then you will know if he's right for you.

well whats the point if he dosnt even like you, stop dreaming, youre only 12 anyway he more than likely sees you only as the 12 year old child that you are anyway

hun, age is just a number. for example, i'm 14 but my boyfriend is 18. we get along great and we love each toher. in order to make our relationship work, we move past the age difference. it's really no big deal to us, to some people it is, but if you really like this guy, ask him out and work things out........ good luck!

guys that age have only one thing on their mind no matter how old you are... if you arent ready to give up your V card (that is, if you havent already...) then dont even worry about him... my suggestion to you is... STAY INNOCENT for as long as you can, once your innocence is gone, you'll spend a lifetime trying to get it back
give it time, dont force yourself to grow up, itll happen soon enough
you'll find someone that likes you, patience dear!
