Yes and here is why . I was born with a cleft pilot (a whole in my mouth) i couldnt drink out of bottles normally like my parents would have to cut the nipple out of the bottle and give me liquids that way i was going to have surgrey but my mom and me started going to church and they prayed for me and i didnt have to have surgrey.I have been though much speech therapy but i have a voice now even though i sound like a hick its okay. Ive had seizure since i was 3 years old i went to doctors alot had to take falling classes and they were really bad seizures. So my brother was born and we stopped going to church lets see parents fighting always and i search for something to believe in well i find something that will destroy me spells or whatever i stop that and i start popen pills , and cutting, i felt empty inside i was depressed and down to a really bad place in my life thoughts of suicide thrown in mind. But i went back to church starting 3 years ago and i found hope and people who love me. So you ask why do i believe in god, why should you ... My name is ashley im 15 years old and i believe in god because he has brought me though so much he healed me , delievered me, he give joy and strength i believe in him not only for those reasons but i have felt him and seen what he can do in others lives and mine...He is the light and we can not make it on our own. Im alive today because of him. so yeah i dont know what else to say really there are so many religions out there but christianity is the only one that gives grace and is true , if you trust in god he will never fail you you are a child of the king you are loved dearly by him. SO yeah thats all i can say believe what you want just no that jesus paid the ultimate price for to have everything you want and be forgiven. You choose to deny or accept him its your choice ... Just remember he will always love you

Yes I believe in God because God is Truth, and when you encounter truth, there is no denying it. I had a personal encounter with Jesus Christ at the age of 24, that changed my life. Since then, life has not been any easier, because the road to heaven is hard and narrow, but I have the Lord to lead to me.I have the assurance of God's promises to sustain me through the difficult times in life, and the hope that awaits me in the next. I am not perfect in anyway, and do not think that just because I am a christian I am better than anyone else. In fact, I am well aware of my weaknesses, but rely on the Lord through prayer to overcome them. Right now, in the past year, I.ve had the most difficult time of my life, but feel that God is still in control, even though my life and the world around me seems out of control. That's why I entered this forum, in hope to find some additional ways to grow and share what I've learned.Jesus is still as real to me today as He was when I had my first encounter with Him and I can't imagine living without Him.I am looking forward to meeting Him in the clouds.

i used to believe in god, but for all the tradgedy thats happened in mine and my husbands life, i can not believe that if there were a god, that he would have let all this happen to 2 people. my grandmar believed in god for a lot of years, she prayed every night n went to church, the works.. but even she has had a change of heart.

well ,it can go by how your raised.
as a child my mom went to a catholic church ,
i was Christen catholic also.
but as i grew older i was able to make my own choices
about religion, and i didn't totally agree with being catholic.
that made me and my mom not see eye to eye,it upset her alot .now don't get me wrong what ever your religion ,to each it's own, I'm not putting them down.
if you seek out GOD and study to prove yourself worthy,
you will gain a relationship with GOD as your faith grows.
and that will lead you down what path you need to chose.
it hard for me not to believe if there is a GOD.
some say we evolved from monkeys ,
if so why are there still monkeys ?
the way it affects me today is ,God has proved HIS word to me so many times.
when im at my lowest ,all i have to do is give it to GOD and
HE gets me through it .ive learned that when I'm in a rut
and i try to handle the situation on my own ,i only make things worst.my faith keeps me sane it keeps my life in order .
because if GOD is for you, who can be against you .
the saying "HE may not come when you want HIM but HE'LL
be there right on time" is so true.
HE is an on time GOD.
I COULD NOT SEE MYSELF LIVING ANY OTHER WAY ....
i chose JESUS CHRIST,as my personal Lord and Savior.
and i think GOD for allowing me that will ,to seek HIS word.

I had an out of body experience and prior to that I was an athiest. Now I believe that there is something greater than me and just because I can't understand it, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. People who pooh-pooh the idea of God normally go quiet when asked the rhetorical: 'tell me of this God in which you don't believe...'. Gets 'em everytime!

I believe in God because He has done miraculous things in my life.
He has shown me His love over and over, and has proven the Bible to me when I thought it sounded wacky and made up.
He has performed miracles (ex. - my dad lost his wedding ring, and one night when we were praying before we ate, I asked that He'd help us find it, and sure enough, after "amen" a clinking noise started from our sink and reaching downi n there, my mom pulled out the ring. That couldn't be conincidence - it was a God thing!)
I can't get through a day without Him, and I rely heavily on Him to help me make decisions, etc.
He is an awesome God and my heart goes out to all of those who bash Christianity on this site and refuse His offer of love and salvation in their life!
