Whether or not the rapture even happens,I can't believe the way some people are answering.Christians are the cause of all wars? Christians have wrecked the government? Christians are the ones who wrecked the enviroment? Come on.If you truly don't believe in the rapture, then let the guy be.There's no need for answers from people who sound like they want to wipe Christians off the face of the planet.

It was written on a stone pillar several thousands of years ago: "This generation of man is going to the dogs."

So realy thank you for your concern, but "the rapture" so dear to some christians, the rest of us call the Ascension. Christians are familliar with Christs ascension. Well what if, and lets just play a little game of what if here, what if everyone accepted Gods Love into their hearts all at once? You, Me, Bob down the street, 'cause say WE'VE ALL had enough. What if the radical shift in planetary conciousness brought on the Rapture for all of us? And we all Ascended together. What if no one was left but those for whom earth was still the ideal place to evolve their conciousness? In that circumstance I would "chop wood, and carry water".

Let's assume for the sake of arguement that your bible is true. You think you're being raptured?
QUESTION 1: IS THE WORD RAPTURE EVEN IN THE BIBLE?
Answer: NO
QUESTION 2: WHEN WILL THE CHANGED MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE OCCUR?
Answer 1: 1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump

What does the word LAST mean?

Answer 2: 2 Thessalonians 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan

What does the word AFTER mean?

Sounds to me like you'll be here with everyone else going through the hell your God loves to create!

My question to you: Why worship, love, admire a God that is so blood thrusty that he can't be happy unless something DIES! The entire basis of Christianity is that God required the death of Jesus (HIS OWN SON) to forgive sins! The original sin was also the KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL! The very thing that gives us freewill! Yet this God wanted us to have freewill?? I THINK NOT!!

This does not help Christianity one bit. The rapture is a theological speculation and one of the most debated parts of Christianity. Just because you have read Left Behind does not mean you are a Theologian.

You don't speak for all of Christianity, just you. And I think you are judging to assume that all of the go to hell, you and I don't know the state of souls.

no offence maurice but your concept of the rapture will not happen. atheists will not be left behind and as it is if a rapture was to occure then some christians would be left behind aswell. i am christian and await a second coming but i don't believe any of the rapture theories that are around or the notion of zionism. you may not be catholic but scripturecatholic.com has an interesting section that shows strong scriptural support for no rapture as currently suggested by a multitude of people,it shows the threee general theories and shows how unscriptural or how loosely based on scripture the rapture is.

Is that what the rapture is? It sounds like the world will be the same as it is now, except with the Christians removed.

Now I'm looking forward to it too.

Ah yes, this supposed Rapture which has been coming for...What? 2000 years?

Give me a break. How can you Christians not see how wacky and far-out your beliefs are? They sound like a cross between The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars.

take responsibility for our actions and fix our own mess--you really should be more responsible, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem, rapture or not and I doubt God will look kindly on you making the world he created a worse place by your actions--don't you agree?

We'll figure something out, go ahead and leave before the rapture we'll handle the government corruption, war etc. Hell, it may be a better place after you guys leave, just remember you can't come back!

That bad stuff you mention is happening now. Polar bears are drowning because of global warming, for instance.

If it does happen, I'll buy you a Coke. I think that's a very big "if".
