Can you share with me some of your spiritual and occult experience ?

Does any one have any true stories they can share with me about supernatural experiences and occult phenomena that they have witnessed? Are there any websites out there that document things of that nature witnessed by more than just one person?

Having been born of Native American Ancestry, I have to qualify some of the experiences I can share with you. In our tradition, Non-ordinary reality Is the norm, but to non-shamanically orientad folks, the reality of that system of belief seems "really far out", but it is not. It just IS. Having said that I would like to share one very light event. I had a wonderful dog for 16 years. She and I were bonded like brothers. Everywhere I went, she went. She greeted me at the door every day and began sniffing my hands to see if I had been hurt that day. (I am a contractor, and minor injuries are an everyday occurrence). If she found any sign of a cut, scrape or whatever, she would start tenderly licking it to make it feel better, and if I tried to walk away, she would stick out her claws and hold my arm down until she was satisfied that her work was done to the best of her ability. After she asked to be put down (she had been very sick for a while), a friend and I were packing up my shop to relocate to Maine. A neighbor's dog came across the street to watch the progress and hopped up with her front paws on the truck bed. My friend asked what time it was and I had no watch and said I didn't know. The neighbor's dog disappeared immediately, and within a very few minutes it reappeared, and once again, hopped up with its front paws on the truck bed, but it had a watch in its mouth~! The dog dropped it in the truck bed and just stood there looking at me with the most wonderful look on her face you could ever describe. The watch was running and I now knew just what time it was. I had only seen the neighbors dog once or twice, and it was the same breed as my wonderful lifetime pet who had just died. Another strange thing which happens to me frequently is that strange pets, or non-pets who are in some type of distress come out of nowhere and tell me what needs attention for me to help them. One day I was fishing in Southern Oregon and looked benind me and there sat a huge stray dog with its paw raised for me to look at. I walked over to see, and the gigantic paw had Fox Tails imbedded between its toes and stuck in the webbing between. It was obviously quite painful. I got to work removing the horrible things and that process also hurts, and the dog whimpered while I was working, but remained sitting until the things were all out. Afterwards, the big stranger looked thankfully at me and trotted off back into the woods where he had come from in the first place. Another time, while walking on a dirt road in North Carolina, a large horse in an adjacent field came trotting over to me as I passed. It just wanted to say Hi I guess, and while communing with me, stuck its hoof through the barbed wire and became immediately entangled in the strands. It started to panic, as horses scare easily. With nostrisl flaring and eyes huge like saucers, I grabbed the tangled hoof which was bigger than my head, and held it for a moment to allow the horse to accept my help or not. It did, calmed down instantly, and I was able to take out the horrible barbed wire which was beginning to draw blood on the poor hoof. Once again, when the big horse was completley free, It stood there looking me with the coolest look on its face imaginable, trotted off a few feet, turned to look at me again, nickered and trotted back to the center of its pasture...Once, while on a shamanic retreat in Hawaii with a Huichol Shaman I have studied with, we were making our pilgrimage down the beach in the Waipeo River Valley, in our characteristic single file line. We were bringing prayer arrows and chocolate and candles for offerings to The Land, and from out of nowhere a big black stallion, accompanied by a Military Macau flying alongside, appeared and while the huge black stallion watched, the Macau flew to the end of our single file line, talking loudly all the while, and proceeded to fly up the line to the head of the line where our Shaman was leading, turned back into the jungle to rejoin the stallion, and with a loud snort from the vision of a horse, a loud screech from the huge bird, they both disappeared back into the rainforest as quickly as they had appeared..Neither the black stallion nor the South American Military Macau are native to Big Island, and nobody we spoke with had ever heard of them in that area, and yet, we all saw and heard them at Very Close range. As I sit here thinking about the large number of such happenings in my personal experience, I think that I had better leave you with just these three examples for now. I have many Spiritual and also what you can call occult experiences though I'm very serious about then because they are what make me and my make-up, as a religious believer, any one who knows well about this, will not share in the net such experience, with someone for the first time in the open?. You might enjoy reading about Hindu gurus who can do "supernatural" things once they achieve a certain level of practice that usually is witnessed by the guru's students and so on. There are lots of books out there on "Marian apparitions" (sightings of the Virgin Mary) and so forth, it's just all about what you're looking into. LOTS of stuff on her at Medjugorje, Fatima and so on... much of that stuff can be found visiting EWTN's website and bookstore where they have books and DVDs on the subject.
