yes but that would probably suck alot of system resources .. and in some cases may conflict ... i would only run one antivirus and then several antispyware apps manually ..

Of course you can. It is recommended actually because if one of the software suites leave a virus undetected, the other antivirus software may be able to pick it up so that the two (or more) help each other to offer a cleaner computer. Albeit, you may want to turn off automatic scans as they may conflict with each other if they run scans at the same time. Also, if both of the suites have a firewall, you may want to disable one, so that they won't 'get in each other's way'. Again, they won't get in each other's way if they are not run at the same time, and turn off automatic scans so that you know (and are able to control) when the programs run scans.

You can have 2 programs on your system but you can only run 1 at a time I have Norton and A V G and I run 1 then the other, just to make sure, but then I'm just naturally cautious

no you can run only one at a time. Otherwise there will be software conflicts. Also, install an anti spyware and scan the PC. I can give a few links that offer free spyware removers...! . Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

Theoretically, yes. However, as they are both trying to do the same thing, they do tend to "trip over each other's feet", so to speak. Therefore, stick to one good one.
