1.If it was ok why arnt we all born with the same sex organs? We wouldnt need an oppisite sex if homosexuality was meant to be.

2.If it was alright why do oppisites create the wonders of our world? You need an negative and posite for electricity. Two of the same repel each other. You need hot and cold air for a tornadoe or hurricane to evan have the possibility of forming.Babies are not created with two men or two women;but with a man and a woman.A penus and vigina. You can argue we'll they can adopt all you want to;but fact is that does not create new life;your just taking in life that was already there.

3.Agree or disagree? This argument eventually and always comes back to the topic and quetion of "Purpose and Design?"

4.Were the oppisites created so they could join and create something new?Or did and just happen, and we can do whatever the hell we want with them?

5.Everything has a purpose or it just happened?Homosexuality is OK or not?

Examples of homosexual behaviour has been shown in mammals, birds, lizards, amphibians and fish. A pair of homosexual male Penguins will even steal an egg from a mated pair so they can raise their own. Homosexual behaviour is so prevalent in the world, there must be a reason for it to be there, Either God decided everything with brains function of Fish or higher in the world should be susceptible to it or it evolved as part of everything because it helps all the species that exhibit it. (And that is all species of animals on the planet, not just humans.)

There are many hypotheses about what triggers homosexuality.

For instance, it has been found that younger brothers of the same mother, are more likely to be homosexual than older brothers. Medical research suggests that the more male children a woman has, without having a female child, the more likely the male child will be homosexual. This could be because of chemicals in the mothers body, in response to the testosterone produced by the male foetuses while she is carrying them.

They have identified specific alleles of genes if found in men or women and if expressed seem to predispose humans to homosexuality. What causes these genes to be expressed is the question. It could be because of diet, e.g certain foods, chemicals in the mothers body or other something else which we haven't found..

They have identified specific areas of the brain, that if damaged through being hit, a shock of electricity, altered surgically, chemicals ingested, hardening of arteries, brain tumours or stroke, can alter a person's sexuality and the expression of such.

They have recorded many times that when too many of a species is crowded into too small a space, that population pressure that may cause other genes to express and cause homosexuality.

This has been studied for years, and is likely to be studied for many more.

As it all seems to be programmed in our genes, perhaps we should blame whoever designed our system? Like our eyes, which are not as good as they could be, and are not as good as other animals, because of blood vessels in our eyes are in front of the retina? Other animals have their blood vessels supplying their eyes behind the retinas, and so seem to have better eyesight.

A Blind Watch Maker or God. Take your pick.

What ever is clear, is that if it is inherent in our system, no amount of social or religious pressure is going to stop it. Neither would the Nazi solution of shooting and gassing them, as it is part of our system.

I may not wish to practice it, but I'd defend others rights to be themselves and how they have been 'made'.

1. In humans opposite sex organs are necessary for reproduction. Many other species have evolved to different solutions to this survival requirement. Some have both sets of organs, some reproduce asexually, etc. In any case your argument is illogical. We have appendices that serve no useful function. Sex organs also have a role in pleasure that is separate from reproduction (sterile people can still experience sexual pleasure.)

2. I don't understand your argument. The mountains are lots of the same little molecules of rock stuck together. The oceans are lots of water molecules all the same. Opposites in electricity is just a human naming convention to indicate the flow direction of electrons. We say that a material is negatively charged if it is missing electrons and we say that a material is positively charged if it has extras. There is nothing "opposite" about them.
Again...see above...sexual pleasure is separate from reproduction. Lots of species have arrived at other methods of reproduction.

3. Homosexuality is certainly no worse than sex outside of marriage or masturbation. (Or eating pork or shellfish if we're using the bible as our standard.)

4. Sexual reproduction (using two organisms to create a new organism) offers the advantage of combining DNA at the creation of each new organism. This method has the benefits of increasing genetic variety which makes a species more resilient to disease etc.

5. Lots of stuff has a purpose. Lots of other stuff just happened. I don't know why it would only be one or the other. I mean ears were made for gathering in sounds for hearing...they also happened to be a convenient place from which to dangle jewelry.

Why does everything have to be right or wrong? Can't anything just be. Is rain right or wrong? How about highways? Toasters? Chihuahuas?

Why do you, personally, even care? Are you your brother's keeper?

Are you aware that homosexuality is quite common in the animal kingdom? Two male penguins in the Bronx zoo have been a pair for years and have even raised an orphaned egg together.

1. What do you mean by "meant to be"?
2. This is a specious argument that has no basis in reality. Define hot? Define cold?

3. Disagree

4. Yes, so new life can be created, and yes we can do whatever the hell we want with them.

5. No purpose, it's fine.

Animal kingdom:
species /% homosexual /bisexual /heterosexual
silver gulls (females) 10 11 79
black headed gulls (both sexes) 22 15 63
Japanese macaques (both sexes) 9 56 35
bonobo chimpanzees (both sexes) 0 100 0
galahs (both sexes) 44 11 44

What difference does it make? If two people are attracted to each other and fall in love, should that make a difference? Personally, I can't see two guys doing it to each other, but different strokes for different folks.

And to respond to the person who said "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve." The whole Adam and Eve thing is a myth - a story - not real. There never was an Adam and Eve. And...if you read that Adam and Eve story closely, Eve did it with her children, Cain and Able. So, its ok to have incest and do it with Mom, but two people of the same sex can't love each other, is that what you're saying?

have you ever seen a male dog mount another male dog? many animal species do this. as to the bible, it was written by mankind, and mankind lies. there are too many awful, silly, and just downright wrong things in the bible to make it at all credible. for one minute, think about if you are wrong, and what you're doing to a sect of people that is doing nothing at all wrong. sort of like back when slavery was legal. (slavery was legal in your bible, by the way). also, did you know human fetus are all female to begin with? that's why males have nipples. do you think anything could possibly go wrong in the transition ? imagine all the kinds of birth defects before you answer that.

I believe homosexuality is simply a variation in human sexuality; I think it was turned into something "amoral" because people didn't understand it, so they decided it was "bad." I'm straight; however, I don't see that homosexual individuals are doing me or anyone else any harm, and unless someone harms someone else, I firmly believe that what they do is their own business, and that other busy-bodies need to keep their opinions and their theologies to themselves.

If, as science seems to indicate, homos are BORN that way, how can you "condemn" them. THey have no choice.

As for a biological purpose let me suggest that homosexuality aids variation in the species which is vital to the survival of the species.
Analogous to corn cultivation. If all corn is genetically identical, then it is all susceptible to disease, blight ,etc. It thus benefits corn production to nuture and save wild and/or less perfect specimens in ordr to keep the gene pool diverse.

I'm not a homosexual as you are not. I can not even imagine to live like that. But let homosexuals to live their life as they are. lets do not sign them as patients and ab normals. they are a part of human kind and if you think wide and clear, it is possible to consider them rights for living in the society.

Wow, you've got a really odd view of the way things really work in the world. "Opposites create"? Since um what version of chemistry, biology and such? You're basing your opinion on YOUR version of morality, which does NOT have the market cornered on truth, and you're basing it off of assumptions that the only purpose we have on this planet is to eat, worship your version of a "god" and procreate. Stop the madness.

I've been through organic chemistry, biology and so forth, and while there are some things one can label as "opposite" (loosely at that) such as electric charges, and so forth, there's a whole lot more that goes into "creation" than "opposites". Educate THEN rant.

The point of your question is that you and your ilk are perfect and you have the right to determine how every other person on the planet should live their life. If people like you did not make such a stink over how some one else conducts their life then you would never know that there were gay people about and it would be none of your business anyway. So if you mind your own business not everyone elses then your question is moot.
