Well before i get started,i know im young and i should'nt even be thinking about stuff like this but i need to see how others feel about this.Im 15 soon to be 16.i have an older boyfriend thats in his 20's.We've been seeing each other about 8 months, and now i think my mom knows. We're perfectly in love and i have a good grip on this relationship. But in other people eyes this is wrong, against the law blah blah. But i feel that if your old enough to know what you want and your not naive then whats the problem. But there's always sicko's that like to mess it up for others by trying to hurt others and stuff like that.basically i don't think age to extent should be legalized.

Ever hear the saying "Fifteen will get you twenty"?

Trust me on this one....Is sexual peak has passed, yours is years away. So when you hit yours, he will be collecting old age pension, is this really what you want? What if it was your daughter, would you allow the age gap?

At 15 you are still a child, whether you think so or not. In his 20's he's a grown man. Yeah, it's an issue. You haven't experienced enough life yet to know what you want, or what love is (sorry, but it's true...experience and maturity will teach you this).

Age is an issue because some older people prey on young, innocent kids...kids that aren't old enough or mature enough to give consent or even really know what they are getting into...the age laws are there to protect you, not restrict you...

...there was a time in history where young people married and and had kids quite young (right after puberty) but the world and Life was vastly different then, and life expectancies were a good deal shorter...

Don't be in such a hurry to grow up...once you leave childhood, it's behind you forever, and adult issues, challenges, and responsibilities will be part of your life for as long as you are here on this earth...

Part of wisdom is realizing how little you know...strive to wise...

Well the age thing is a big deal because the level of experiences you 2 hold is different!
First off, the age thing isn't that big of a deal when you're older b/c you've got more experience to deal w/ situations, plus you're more settled down w/ your life & have a clue about where you going.
You're only 15 & don't have a clear view of your future(you can make plans) but they'll surely change.
The experience a 15 yr old holds is of holding hands & kissing in the halls. That of a 20 something yr old. is of having sex & going on trips & working & going to bars & it's way too different!
Now if you were 21 or 22 that might be a different story since you'd have more in common.

There are many countries where this would not be an issue... And when you are 35 and he in his forties, nobody will care. But as it is, you probably will eventually each go your own way. A 15 year old just has soo much growing up to do and world to see, and new people come and go. But wait: is he 20 or 29? There's a big difference there. If you are happy still in a year's time - it's nobody else's business.

Age is an issue becomes you are young even though you may think you´re very mature there is still alot you need to learn. This man is doing something illegal i think and if he needs to find love with people you´re age then he´s a bit weird. Don´t get me wrong but, my step dad is 10 years younger than my mum but they met when he was 27. People tend to grow up to fast . Perfectly in love may be your opinion but i assure you he isn´t . He is an adult and you are a teenager. I hope you´ve not had intercourse and what happens when you hit 20 ?? is he gonna find another younger girl.I know people like him and really don´t respect them.
He should be mixing with people his own age not waiting outside a school for his g/f

ok....im 15 too.. and im not a goody goody or anything and i dont take my parents advice on everything but.. im guessing a lot of people who are older than you are telling you that what you are doing is wrong... well guess what old people ARE good for somethig..they have alot more years of experience and in the long run... they are probably right... im not saying listen to everythng your parents say but on this topic.. they most likely know best...i say tell your boyfriend that you think you should take a break.. even if you dont really think you should.. just try dating boys ur own age for a while.. hope this helps!

your 15 and you think you know the world and when I was15 I thought I knew everything too... just wait until you grow up and have children of your own and then you'll fully understand why besides it being against the law (being that he is a pervert) that it's not good for a 20 year old man to be with a 15 year old girl.. can you say child molester :) :) :)

the easiest way for me to explain it is even though right now you might be having the time of your life with him you two wont always have the same thing in common think about it he is old enough to drink and if he wants to go out he cant take you cause your to young so most likly there will be someone else filling your space while he is at the bar

honey i just have one question DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU WANT?? i mean your fifteen you probably havnt had that much experience i would think, so how do you know everything thats out there in order to have decided what you want and dont want.i dont really believe in real love at that age either. but like you i dont really follow the rule of age either.i am 16 and i have gone out with guys as old as 21 before.it is fun and better than guys our age because most are immature, but i wouldnt say i ever LOVED any of them.i am still too young to know what true love is.and am also too young to kno everything i want because i havnt seen it all.but i do kno i dont like immature guys, so older guys are usually the answer to that.and also i kno my limits with guys, if the guy your with is convincing you to do stuff that your not comfortable doing, dont be with him and its not true love.probably you think its true love just because you are just begining to experience the fun of having a good boyfriend or a boyfriend at all.just be really careful.

good luck!!

It's simply that at 15 you haven't the experience nor the education to support yourself and a child should this jerk get you knocked up and then disappear, like untold millions of 'em have. Your parents should be in jail for not keeping him away from you.
