It could possibly be an umbilical hernia..the puppy should be taken to the vet for a complete puppy exam. This is very important ot do with ALL new puppies no matter who they are bought/adopted from. This should be done within 72 hours of purchase/adoption.

Arrrgh!! Breeders, do not send puppies to new homes at 7 weeks!!
Buyers, do not buy puppies under 8 weeks!
Weeks 7-10 are their main socializing learning time.
It is possible it is an umbilical hernia if it kind of bulges out. But, it also sounds similar to ringworm. Take her to the vet, they can tell by looking at it, may also need a little skin scraping, no big deal. But ringworm is a contagious fungal infection, so it's best to know for sure.

This is an issue for the veternarian. My female dog had lumps in her belly and the 1st time it was cancer. The 2nd time it turned out to be a hernia from scar tissue from her previous surgery, which also had to be removed. Hope this helps and I will pray it is not that serious of an issue:}

It might be harmless tissue. But I would suggjest going to the doctor to check it out, just to be sure. My English Bulldog has cancer after I found a lump in his neck area recently, but then he is 11-12 years old.

The puppy has Umbilical hernia. This is easy to get rid of. The surgery to have it removed can be about $50.00. It's nothing serious but you should have it removed.

It could be her belly button or it could be a hernia or cyst. Since nobody on here can see it to be sure, it might be a good idea to take it to the vet just to be safe.

My cat suffered the same. It's normal. It's like a ball of fat tissue collected. However, your vet can best analyze if for you.

It sounds like it could be a cyst. Take it to the vet to get checked out.

I'm not sure, but it reminds me of a tumor...you should see a vet, even if it appears to not hurt. You most likely need to get it removed.

My dog had this as well. See a vet imediately. At first it doesn't hurt, but later, it will. We didn't notice it at first, but later, we saw that she couldn't even walk!! We had to rugh her to the vet, and she needed surgery, or we would have had to put her down.
See a vet IMEDIATELY!!
