Yes God did say that we should forgive everyone there sins and forgive them and that death is the worse punishment but he killed probably thousands of people. Maybe more... and they were innocent, I am not sure but doesn't it say a punishment inthe bible for killing some one? I dont really feel like looking it up but you can. and the thing is some people say, "well what about his children? they didn't do anything bad did they?" and yeah they did, they raped and murdered people for no reason at all! i know we should love him but how can you ever forgive someone for killing so many people? it is insane how God can possobly forgive such a man, but still its not like only a few people would have a say against it anyway. I dont think that there is anyway for a natural human being (bsides God himslef) to forgive such a horrible man, we can only hope that maybe just maybe God will give him a chance...

I believe that you are correct. There are family members that will be hurt by this. I do believe that the death penalty for anyone can be dangerous to the souls of others in many ways. All sins darken the soul. Therefore, those that are involved in the killing process may be hurt spiritually. I believe that we do not have the right to kill others under any circumstances. I believe that all souls have a chance to be saved in life. The death penalty may be taking that chance away from those individuals. I understand why we get angry with people for their sins... I have periodically felt the same way as others... I get angry sometimes too... sometimes I also feel like we should have the death penalty for certain kinds of sinners. However, if you really think about it... it is wrong for us to judge them... it is wrong for us to kill them. Everyone should have the right to be saved.

I am a Christian and I believe in Capital punishment. God is a God of Justice also. Everyone thinks that our point of contact with God His love, but it is His Justice. I did not feel bad. I did feel bad for the boy who saw his mother get acid thrown on her face, I felt sorry for all the people he ruthlessly murdered. I did however wish that before his death someone would have given him the salvation message. He had no remorse. I believe he got what he deserved. Peace out.

Well, I guess that was tough love.
He killed so many people and would continue to do so had we not put an end to it.
So by killing him, I guess it was preventing him from killing more people which could loosly translate into preventing him from sinning further.
We were showing love to the rest of the people out there who would have been killed had we not executed him.
It's a tough issue to try to sort through, but remember, he knew that if he were to be caught and put on trial, his crimes would deserve the death penalty and he went along with it anyway.

First of all he wasnt judged according to christians laws,he was judged and condemned to death according to iraqi laws .His death was wrong becouse any soul have the right to repent for his sins . U cant eradicate sins with greater sins . Killing(
a criminal ) its still breaking Gods comand." You shall not kill !!!!" God didnt gave any circumstances of killings ,he said to leave the ALL punishment and the ALL condamnation to him .If he was judged according with christians laws he wouldnt have been killed but inprizonated for the rest of his life ,then he would have had enough time to think about all of his sins and to repent . Now he dont have this chance so those who killed him have also comitted sin and have his blood on their hands . Justice has not done !

Saddam was deceived by satan. Yes, we need to forgive, love, & grieve for Saddam. I feel sadness about it, because he never asked Jesus into his heart and be redeemed from his sins. But, know that Gods judgment is what it is, and we can't change Gods righteous judgment.
The wages of sin is death. The gift of God is eternal life. Saddam never received the gift of eternal life. And his sins of killing innocent were many. So, I am sure he is in a worst hell than some are. There are levels of hell too.
We need to forgive & forget others sins because Jesus forgave and forgot our sins against Him. The Lord is our avenger also.

It always makes us feel bad to see backward countries still using the death penalty. It is a savage medieval punishment that was abolished by every modern civilized country in the world.
It is a disgrace to the law makers, the judges, the government and the population of the country that still allows it.
It's not necessary to mix it with old middle eastern tales and legends like christianity etc... It is just disgraceful.

I feel that we should not condmen Christians for killing Saddam It was not Christians who killed him but I agree that Christians should not kill anyone and that this man lived under the grace provided by Jesus through the atonement and that anyone who cuts this mans life short will be held accountable. I think that the murder of this man was a tragedy and it matters not what evil he di as all of us are evil and are deserving of death according to the law of God but we live by his grace and the atonement we all have a time of grace ot accept that we do not perish in our sinful flesh but accept Chrsit as our savior that we might have eternal life. I do not by any means believe that christ would support the death peanlty as he came to offer us grace that we might be saved and John 8 shows that Christ did not come to condemn us but to offer us eternal live through his atonement for our sin.

Yep, he was made in God's image, and is no different from us.
He has to answer to God eternally, and we are subject to the laws of the nations in which we live. Also, no one takes your life without God's permission. The Biblical mandate not to kill does not exclude execution for murder. Pray for those who remain and the families of those he murdered.
