I have a maltese. (Kind of like a shih tzu) Anyway, he spits of clearish foam when his tummy is upset. Unless your baby starts shaking a lot i wouldn't worry. Put an ice cube in his water bowl. When they get dehydrated and then drink a lot it makes them spit up sometimes. So from what you're saying that sounds like what it is to me. If he does start shaking a lot though or whining then take him to the vet. But until then he just sounds like he has an upset tummy. Especially if he's had some stress lately. But if he's been drinking a lot of water quickly - that's probably what it is. good luck!

if its white its likely to be mostly water and saliva if its just small amounts. if it has any yellow, stomach acid. in the mornings sometimes my dog gets an upset stomach if shes really hungry and she will spit up a small amount of stomach acid then i feed her and its all good.

Give him water and then take him to the vet now if you care for him at all.

could be either rabies or epilepsy. Take him to the Vet immediately.

Could it have gotten into anything toxic around the house?
You should see a vet, it could be something simple to something serious. Please have it checked out

rabies? maybe its having a heart attack? or maybe it just had a lot of exercise....take it to the vet ASAP

it might have rabies. was it bit by anything? take it to the vet
