Ive heard taht when a cat tail plant gets caught in a dogs nose it comes alive and gives the dog worms in his nose. Anyway i went hunting yeserday with my dog and when we were finnished he was very red on his underside. A day later his reddness went away, but it was replaced with a whole bunch of little white pimples on his chest. Could this be because of the starthistle being poked on him???

Cattails do not give dogs worms.
I have hunters and we hunt them reguraly and they never get worms.
They go thru cattails all the time.
They are red on the belly most times after hunting. It is irrated from the grass and stubble in the fields hitting their bellys.
You can put a chest protector on them to help with that.
Other than that I have a antibiotic cream that I put on any really bad spots after we hunt. Most times they are gone the next day.
The pimples could be from him licking at the area. Just keep an eye on it and try to get him not to lick the area. As long as it does not get infected he should heal up in a few days.
Good luck.

That sounds logical to me. Call the vet and have your dog checked. If there are little white pimples I would suspect infection of some kind.
