Now it wont take pictures. What should I do? Now I have the isurance with the camera that I got from best buy when i bought the camera. What really happend was that I was at the playground with my little sister and it droped a good 6 feet in to the sand. Is there another story that involves sand that I could tell them so i can be covered and not have to pay money to fix it? There is very litile sand that actully is in the camera.

Gee, let me think up a lie so you can rob someone because you messed up. Let me think... Nevermind, I don't think you're a nice person.

The lens might want to be scratched. Sand is amazingly abrasive, consequently sandpaper. Get a can of compressed air and take a verify out blowing the sand out with it. once you're fortunate the lens isn't scratched and the sand is merely contained in the way or something, jamming the hollow mechanism merely sufficient so the digital camera thinks the cover is closed.. If not you're out a digital camera because it would want to in all likelihood fee extra to fix than replace.

You can say that you taking pictures on the beach and the wind started to pick up and some sand got into the camera. If you have insurance then they should be forced to give you another camera. Hope you get a new camera!!Good Luck!!!

oo, just get a new one.
im not sure, but this may help. Why would you need to buy it when you can get it for free? I just entered these sweepstakes and got Canon camera for no charge. I couldn't believe it. You can also get a Sony or Kodak camera, but I like Canon a lot better.

Check this site out! You just need to enter your Zip Code.
