Puerto Rico is a vary traditional christian country. I have never met a person that says he worships the devil (other than someone trying to get some attention). I do not know of an organized group that worships the devil in the Island.

However, Puerto Rico has a very broad range of religions. Espiritismo (Spritism) and Santería (similar to spiritism but attributted to saints) might be considered by many satanic cults. People that follow these practices do not think thay are serving the devil and many consider themselves good christians or catholics. These practices are practically abandoned now and are more a part of the island folklore.

Puerto Rico, as any other latin country is mainly catholic. Most of these people being non-congregational. There is a heavy number of pentecostals, baptists, evangelics and other religions such as mormons, Jehovas witnesses, adventists, etc. There is an everincreasing number of new denominations and its very common to see religions where the ministers just benefit from people's money.

There are devil worshippers all over the world. Believe it or not devil worshippers are obtaining supernatural powers from the devil. People that worship the devil are capable of many things that they would not be able to do normally. For instance, I believe that they can use their power to control animals and even human beings. I know for a fact that people who allow themselves to be possessed by evil spirits are even capable of reading people's minds. Have you ever wondered how Sylvia Brown seems to know about people's past lives? She does not just see Auras/halos around people. She is somehow retrieving information from the minds of people. I do not trust everything that Sylvia tells us because I know that spiritual beings are very deceptive. She is probably being tricked into believing certain things herself. I have had an unusual experience once where an individual tried to read my mind... that is why I know devil worshippers can read minds. Check out my question "Do you think the birth of the Red Heifers born in the 1990's is proof that the Messiah is coming soon?" There is an important message for everyone.

The idea of "devil worshippers" is largely a myth. There is an official "Church of Satan," based in the USA, which might have members in Puerto Rico... but even that Church of Satan isn't quite what you have in mind by devil worshipper.

For instance, no goat sacrifices.

The last mainstream religion to sacrifice woodland critters, to my mind, would be... the religion of the "chosen people" of God; the Jews, like when Abel sacrificed to God.

Modern "devil worshippers" just tend to be non-conformist; a lot of them don't even *believe* in the devil, and just use that term to sound "cool."

Of all the things in the world to be frightened of, devil worshippers is near the bottom of the list.

i think of many human beings in simple terms do no longer do adequate analyzing (of something to boot the bible), or self sufficient questioning. Satanists and devil worshippers are Christians, in essence. devil does not exist exterior of Christianity -- the devil is the Church's own invention. Satanists in simple terms turn Christianity the different way up -- they are nonetheless reacting to it. Wiccans and Pagans are honoring gods and energies that are some distance older than the Christian god. They revere Nature. Nature is the closest factor to certainty we are able to ever be attentive to.
