Don't text, or use a phone. Take her somewhere and just level with her. Tell her you want to move on. Please dont use the " I still want to be friends" thing. She sure as hell doesn't want to hear that! Because you work together, it will be awkward. Just remember to be cordial and avoid eye contact at work. Also, expect her to be angry. She probably doesn't see this coming. But after awhile, she'll move on too.

This is why I never date co-workers. The whole what if it doesn't work out factor...I suggest you do it gently. Do it outside of work (probably on a Friday so she has the weekend to cool down) and face to face. Choose your words carefully and hope the girl will be OK with it. The last thing you need is her telling all your business at work or talking bad about you to your other co-workers. Lastly, you can't date anyone else at work if she still works there. (You don't wanna open that can of worms). Good Luck!

The real only things you can do that I can think of is;
-make sure you do it in person
-give the reasons why you are ending the relationship
-if you still want to be friends the make sure you tell her and take an effort to still talk to her at work
-be kind
-make sure she understands, because if a girl doesn't understand it completely then things aren't gonna be so great

I hope this helps! good luck!
