Great question. It seems that Wiccans are the single most disliked and misunderstood group in America. Their beliefs are not as "concrete" as other faiths because they do not organize themselves or have a central holy book. Some believe in God, others in Gods, others in Spirits....I think you might be better off asking individual Wiccans what they believe, but not assuming they represent the entire group...

"And it harm none, do what ye will".
Contrary to popular belief, Wiccans do not worship Satan, sacrifice infants on the Full Moon, or copulate with the devil.
Wiccans do practice witchcraft for the good of the Earth, animals, and all people.

Check with Bluefire.. she cetainly seems to know her stuff in that categorie. I, on the other hand would say that they believe in a series of gods that are for certain things. Some people try to make it seem like it's not a bad thing but I think it is merely on the fact that the soul has no belonging to one specific god (God) yet he/she belongs to several of them. I find that inhumane. Of course, on the more specific point of view.... I think these beliefs are illusive and misleading.

My exact understanding of Wicca is a collection of abused women who got together to learn how to protect each sister from the abuses of men who worship male gods. These gods give men the right to force women to be submissive to their husbands even when it is dangerous for them. The powers Wicca used to punish the abusers are: natural toxins, poisons and potions; manipulating truth, spells and curses; psychological retribution, circumcision and abortion . Some believe that lives are reborn, others believe in heaven and hell. They believe the creator of life is female. Many don't even know they are practising Wicca.
