Onions are toxic to dogs.
They cause Heinz Body Anemia and your dog can die from lack of oxygen. It causes the red blood cells (the ones that carry oxygen) to burst and die off to fast and the dogs body will not get oxygen to the lungs and tissues
Onions should never be fed to dogs.

NO! Onions are toxic to dogs. The next question is, why would you feed your dog onions? If he is a begger at the table you are dining from and the onion hits the floor, yes he will eat it. Will he get sick, probably not from a small amount, but he could get a bad reaction and have some very bad discomfort.

They may eat but they are harmful to them. Keep onions out of reach. Only give dog food. Dont give whatever you eat. It is fun but you will only be abusing your dog if you do it.
