No you don't, but it would be healthy to get a cut to get a good portion of the damaged ends off. After start a regimen to rebuild your tresses.

It depends on the damage. I your hair is REALLY damaged but just at the ends then just cut enough to make it a little healthier but if its all over, go to a GOOD salon and have a few good conditioning treatments. I hope it all works out!

well you have to be more descriptive than that . How did your hair get damaged in the first place? Have you tried deep conditioners, including hot oil treatments? A little damage sometimes gives Volume to your hair which can be a good thing.

no you dont. you can get a trim to get rid of some of your damaged ends. try a renewal shampoo and a fortifying treatment or a shampoo for damaged hair. try pantene they have a good fortifying treatment.
eggs and mayonaise to not work all they do is make your hair stink! they also take forever to wash out do not use this stuff!!!!!!!
oils are okay thought they will restore some of the moisture back into your hair.
do curl, iron, or blow dry your hair this is just taking more from your already damaged hair, not a good idea.
hope i helped. =D

No you don't "HAVE" to. But it may be the end result

If you find a "Sally Beauty Supply" in your area, you'll find "hair restoration" kits which is like a SERIOUS hot oil treatment (etc. There are various kinds) for your hair.

Try those. If they dont' work, see a professional at a high end salon for advice.

Cut off the worst of it, then condition it intensely with either hot oil treatment or I used to use this stuff in a tub at Sally Beauty Supply called Cholesterol in red letters, or you can always use mayonnaise.

No, you should cut it at the shortest lenght you can take and ask the hairstylist what treatments or products to use. They probably won't be cheap, but that may be the solution.
