If I have soft but formed stools, is this diarrhea? Or is diarrhea runny, watery and distinct? Thanks, sorry for the weird question...

Diarrhea means Frequency of motion, Diarrhea is considered dangerous when Frequency is over 7 times each 12 hrs.... sure itis runny and so the patient feels as he is going to move.... What I can say here is that, It can be loose, or formed or mucus or bloody But care should be taken when its Frequency over 7 because of dehydration... If the stool is loose and no frequency that is not considered diarrhea.

watery stool and more than one or two is considered diarrhea. diarrhea will dehydrate the body due having to go have a bm repeatedly.
