White bread is bleached flour. All have the gluteins removed. If you where to make homade bread, and add wheat glutein, yuo would have an excellent tasting bread.

Most definitely!! White bread is just fluff. But just because it says "wheat bread" on the package doesn't necessarily mean it's good either. The main thing you should look for in breads is what kind of flour they use. White and wheat breads that are made with enriched, BLEACHED flour are no good. You should look for the words "whole grain" or "whole wheat" flour, and also the number of grams of fiber. The higher the number, the healthier the bread.

White bread is made from wheat that has been processed within an inch of its life. Wheat bread has been less processed. What you really want to look for is whole grain bread. It's the most natural and the healthiest for you.

white bread is made from refined wheat flour. Wheat bread is supposed to be made from whole grain wheat, but sometimes it's just white bread with food coloring, so you have to look at the ingredients. wheat bread has more fiber, and heartier flavor.

Yes, wheat bread is much better, nutritionally and has more fiber. We prefer the 7 whole grain bread that is now available....and it's much better nutritionally speaking:)

Well white bread has fat,(except for wonder bread for kids). And wheat bread does not have fat. It has nutrients that do not put on fat in your body. Also, 100% wheat bread has nothing but nutrients nothing more.
