Kas B brings up a good idea. Take a pencil and line in up parallel to your nostril. This is where your brow should begin. Next angle the pencil at 45 degrees, this is where the brow should end. Now find a salon that "threads" eyebrows. This technique uses a piece of thread to thin and shape the brow, it is really cool to watch and only a professional should do it.

Cutting them will not make them grow longer or thicker. Comb the hair upwards and trim the extra along the shape of your eyebrow, then pluck any hairs outside of the main lines of your brow. Do this and keep it up, maybe once a week.

you should go to the salon, and have them wax, thread, or pluck them. Its no more than 8 dollars. That will make them more thinner, and, neater. If u trim them with scissors, they will most likely turn out uneven.

Okay, take a pencil and put it beside your nose and squish your nose just a little. Make sure the pencil lines up with your brow, and what ever is left over you pluck it with tweezers.
Any additional hairs under your brow, pluck them too. You'll have a nice clean brow.

Go to a salon or even Walmart salon and get them waxed. They wax them and pluck them and then just pluck them when you see some hairs coming in. Its only 8 bucks to get them waxed and a lot easier to keep up with them after waxing.

it is just a myth that your hair will grow back longer and thicker.
I trim mine sometimes.
Good luck and be careful - don't have a shaky hand! LOL!!
