The 18 year old should tell him that she is only 18 years old. Chances are, he'll be scared off... which is OK. There is no need for a 26 year old man to be with an 18 year old girl. Cross that bridge when you get there.

Well, the age difference is not that great, I wouldn't say anything
she is 18 year old and she has a right to do as she pleases. I have always liked older men myself and he really in my opinion isn't to old for her. I believe I would just let alone, he may already know, and if she is a friend of yours, I wouldn't risk losing her over a age difference in the person she chose.

First of all the girl is legal so who is to say what she should do but if it is a continuous problem where she feels she need to tell him then I think she should. Also my thing is if its love you will know and Age Should Not Matter its just a number in this case shes legal

My dad was 24 when he married my mom, who was 18. That marriage lasted over 50 years, when my dad died. This is not such a big age gap.... plus she's legal. Let them be.

Tell him the truth. If he really does love you then he won't care how old you are. If he does then he is not worth it and you need to move on.
