It is Ok to hit women. If many feminist groups really believe that men and women are equal, they would allow men to hit women.

My question to you is: If she's pulled a knife on you before and you feel the need to ask about this, WHY WOULD YOU EVER GO BACK AROUND HER??? EVER?!!!
Stay the heck away from that kind of woman!!! Find a good woman! There are lots of real sweethearts out there in this world who are looking for a man who will treasure them being good to their girlfriend!
For those good women, NO, NEVER hit them! There is no excuse to hit a woman who is "normal". A woman who pulls a knife on you is not normal!

There is an alternative to hitting because that will probably make her even worse. Hold her down with a lot of force and take the knife out of her hands

Look, If she has a knife I would have to say that you should just get the h*** out of there and go call the cops.Why would you risk getting stuck with a knife to hit anyone? regardless if its a girl or a guy??
But no, Sounds to me like she has mental issues and you hitting her isnt going to fix anything of those mental issues.
Besides that,I dont think any guy should hit a women, ever!! Just get out and call cops and have her removed from the house.Then change the locks and from there on out get better taste in women!

Listen if you call the police and tell them she was going to stab me but she didn't get a chance because you punch her, the Police won't believe you because many abusers use the same excuse in a domestic situation you know what I mean ? I am not saying that you are. Best advise grab her and shake her fast, or run like a man.

Even though i'm a woman i think it is OK to hit her because she is putting your life in danger. Or another option is to run! But don't try to restrain her because you could get killed by that person.

you should never hit a women or man no one ever deserves to be hit you just get away from her for a little while and when she calms down talk to her about what has happened never ever hit a woman just because your the stronger sex don't mean you have any right to hit them never hit anyone people need to learn to talk stuff out and stop hurting people

You should always try to restrain someone first. Possibly hitting them once to disorient them, then take the knife away.
You do what you have to do in self defense, but do NOT take it overboard.

Your last line indicates you already believe it to be okay, so why ask? More tactful wording would likely get you better responses...but then I don't imagine you care about that.
I'm a chick but you're darn right I'd hit anyone if my life was in danger and I thought striking them would save me.

one dont hit no women cuz u woudnt hit yo mom.two if u c dat she not to rite in da head den u need to restrain her wit enfgh force to just take the knife after dat let ha go then JUST TALK TO her to cailm her nervs if dat dnt work RUN!!!!
