No, unless it's a 'universal' television meaning that it can receive PAL and SECAM signals. The unit purchased in the U.S. is designed to receive NTSC. If you don't know, contact Pioneer directly. Also the line voltage in most of continental Europe is 220-250VAC @ 50Hz while in the U.S. it is 110-125VAC @ 60Hz so if you plug it in without a transformer you will have an expensive wall picture frame.
