I'm confused! Bush=War in Iraq (Stay the course) but to many Bush=Christian morals, yet Jesus doesn't equal War in Iraq? I think Bush doesn't equal Christian morals, he only wanted you to think that.

I believe that the war in Iraq is more cloaked in Christian morals than it being 'truely' what Jesus would want. It really depends on how conservative a Christian you are, as to how you react in cases like this. I can be very conservative in certain areas, but I do not agree with the war, or with Bush's morals. However, everyone is free to interpret their beliefs their own way..The problem is when it affects others in a negative way. =\

If Jesus came back tomorrow, who would care about the war in Iraq. Only ones that are left behind would even know about it, and they would have far more to worry themselves about

The war in Iraq is actually setting the stage for the great battle of Armageddon. It is all part of the plan for the return of Christ.

For God's sake, what kind of idiot question is this. We all know that Jesus would not strap on an m16 and head to Baghdad. He did however teach that the sin infected world we live in will have wars and fighting til the end of things. I dont believe God chooses sides in war. He loves all the people. You ask the question as if you think God should punish us for defending freedom and justice throughout the world.

What do you mean "If Jesus came back tomorrow"? Jesus is here, right now. His Spirit is alive and well. And he's against war.

well all he wants is world peace

so im preety sure if he came back he would stop the war and then the jews would like freak out cause they dont believe in him and then i think the jews would like hang him on a cross and kill em.....which would be reeally sad...

2nd opinin.i think in a way people need wars like these cause you dont know if somethings good if you never experienced the bad
and so if americans never had sicknesses or things like that to kill us.. we wouldnt appreiciate our lives cause we would be used to living !

obviously the motives for Iraq are immoral. young men are dying and children are becoming fatherless. Anyway, if he came back tommorrow, so the war would end tommorrow.

I really don't think Jesus would be for any war. I think he wants us all to have peace. I think Jesus would be dissappointed in the war.
