Hi, Never Never Never Never Pre lighten your hair if you where trying to go blonde then you should of just used bleach to strip your colur from your hair to go blonde. All a pre lightener does is lift your colour to 2 shades lighter so you can put a lighter hair dye on, its not intended to make you go blonde if that was what you where trying to do. Trust me i made this mistake before loads of times and now if you try and put a blonde perminant dye on it wont cover the orange you will have to use a brown. It wont look a dark brown as you are putting it on pre lighted hair. You could always try using a bleach over you pre lightend hair as its gone orange becuase your hair is either to dark for the bleach to work or you never left it on long enough. If you get a bleach Get Bblonde for the darker hair and apply it to your hair as it is now. And it should take and it will either go blonde or white. It it goes white or blonde you are then safe to put the dye on, but be careful as permenants wreck your hair as much as bleach does, So make sure you look after you hair after you have done this.
Im speakiing from experiance as i have done this many times and my hair is very brittle and falls out bacause of all the bleaching and colouring, and it going wrong.
If you go to a hair dresser it will cost you a fortune and they may not do it right, but if you have the money then you can go and see what they say. The only other thing is to just dye over it with a brown semi permenant and wait for it to grow out and then get it bleached at the hairdressers.

You need to use a toner,.If you get a light ash blonde it should do the trick. You need the ash to kill the orange at the top of you hair which I presume is your roots.Just be careful not to let it get on any of your hair which is very blonde/white.If this happens it will cause your hair to have a bluey/ grey hue off it.
Once you have fixed the colour make sure you use a shampoo for blonde hair. This will help keep the yellow away. There is a really good one by Schwarzkopf which you can but in any salon's that stock this brand.

if you had really dark hair that is what can happen.
leave it a day then put your blonde colour over the top.
the blonde should take fine.
you will need to intensively condition your hair once a week tho as you will have alot of bleach on it which will dry it out.
to do that after shampooing your hair get your regular conditioner and put lots on you hair especially the ends (but not too much just a good coating no drips!) then leave it on for at least 30minutes before combing thru and rinse it all out.
that will help to get moisture into your hair and help keep it looking nice and healthy.

you need to re apply a high lift, tint [lv10-'12'] or a bleach with at least 30v peroxide, but first consider, if your hair had been coloured before? if another colour had been used in the past, it is a precarious job at hand, as a tint alone will not acheive anything lighter than a shade of orange at most, you need to bleach your hair and then tone it with a platinum or ash toner for light shaded hair. if you're doing this at home, don't melt your hair off! and if it feels like jelly when you rinse it out, rinse some vinegar through your hair straight away to restore the pH, before going further, a toner like magic silver white, could be useful but dilutew it a litttle with conditioner to avoid having purple hair like old ladies used to have!

That has happened to me. I went and bought a super-drug lightening kit and it worked well. Then i bought a good hair-colour and used the pearl-blonde and it came out just fine. But then i have very strong thick hair. A friend tried the same and she has fine hair and her hair just broke off from all the peroxide. It is up to you if you want to take a chance but like someone else mentioned already if you can afford it , use a hair-dresser to fix it up. They will moan at you but tell them you used another hairdresser and they messed it. Hairdressers always say your hair is in bad condition, too dry , wrong colour whatever just to get you to use their products.

never positioned blond immediately on ideal of a drak color it won't artwork (of course) lightening is a processif you want ti lower back to blonde you will would desire to bypass to the hair fabric cabinet yet you will would desire to anticipate that blonde dyes are corosive on your hair as they're pigment strippers, in case you over dye your hair it somewhat is going to alter into brittle and you have gotten very fuzzy dry hair! my ultimate advice is to apply a temp hair color ( the wash out sort) your hair went orange as a results of fact brown has purple pigments in it and purple pigments are the toughest to conceal. as a results of fact of this that thy inform you to do try strands. basically dont attempt to lighten at homestead you would be way worse off then you definately are actually----sturdy luck
