Can you get cancer by having a IUD? I've been feeling real bloated lately and very crampy like period cramps. Plus I've been feeling very hungry and binge and end up throwing up cause i ate to much and didn't realize it cause all i feel is hunger but already feel full 24/7? whats going on

go in and ask for a test its called a CA 125 it can give the docs a good indication as to whether you have Ovarian cancer, Do it now , Ovarian cancer sneaks up without a lot of warning its a silent killer , i have it and it did not show up until late stage...Get to the doc!

i too currently have an IUD and have done full research on it before i got it...the only way anything could go wrong (ie cancer or infections) would be if you were unsanitary while having intercourse or your body rejects it (this will be noticed withen the first 2/wk -1/month max of it being inserted) very few women will get anything more then a slight infection so you really dont have anything to worry about if your sanitary and dont have intercourse till atleast 6wk after having it inserted, and when you do try and use the restroom afterwords to "clean" yourself. Also if having intercourse withen the first yr if having it if you "like it rough" take it easy it will be very easy to tear or push to far in.
your body may be rejectiong it i suggest taking a couple days off your feet to let your muscle relax and let your body heal...how long ago did you have it insert it will also be a factor as well.. i noticed the same simptoms for the first 2 months i had it then they slowly went away your body is bloating because its trying to heal and its realizing that the IUD needs space to "adjust". and the hunger is also because of the bloating just think of it as your internal system is off balance right now...so kick back on the foods even if you feel hungry and take a couple days to recover then in a couple weeks or so if it hasnt gone away then see a doctor.

I have never heard of someone getting cancer because of their IUD. Is there a chance you could be pregnant? I can happen with an IUD and should be checked right away because of the risk of ectopic (tubal) pregnancy.
I hope you call your doctor right away with your concerns! It could be a serious problem!
