Dandruff:
Dandruff is flakes of dead skin that form on the scalp. As it is normal for skin cells to die and flake off, a small amount of dandruff is normal and in fact quite common. Some people, however, either chronically or as a result of certain triggers, experience an unusually large amount of flaking, which can be not only a visual nuisance, but is also often accompanied by redness and irritation. Most cases of dandruff can be treated with the proper shampoo.
Dandruff can also be a symptom of a more serious condition. Care should be taken not to confuse a simple case of dandruff with other conditions that also cause flaking of the scalp, such as seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis. With all forms of dandruff, as any other rash, excessive scratching should be avoided. Scratching to the point of causing breaks in the skin can increase the risk for infections, particularly from staph and strep bacteria.

ok that "white stuff" is mentioned as dandruff. truthfully your dad is incorrect. you're maximum probably drying your scalp out with all that shampoo. you ought to not wash your hair two times an afternoon. Shampoo strips off each and all of the oils out of your hair, your hair does want a small quantity of oil to stay wholesome in any different case your hair will dry out too. try scaling all the way down to washing your hair as quickly as an afternoon or as quickly as the different day. experts truthfully basically recommend washing hair as quickly as a week, yet maximum folk's hair is basically too oily for that. the different time you wash your hair us a shampoo mentioned as T-Gel or T-Sal (the better of the two). this could help do away with the flakes you have and help preclude you from getting extra.

The white stuff is probaly dandruff, and for when you comb your hair and its old age. When you shower its supposed to look really dark. Then when you comb it it should start to be coming back to regular color. Water will make your hair much darker. When you comb it all the water is comming out and you have light hair again

Product build up! Use a mild, clear, light weight shampoo. Use a hirbrusk in the shower the first time and lightly scrub your scalp. Get the build up off, then rinse and repeat.

sounds like dandruff. try using a dandruff shampoo & see if that helps. OR if you use gel or hair products on your hair it could be a build up.
