Tea, less caffeine also less additives. I know tea to be calming as well and it have anti oxidants that helps your blood flow. I like tea and when i do a diet my doc always says drink tea not coffee so obviously it's more healthy than coffee.

I know that there is more cafeine in tea than there is in coffee. I asked a senior doctor from a health clinic and he said that it's better to drink tea because of the many herbs that it offers. He also told me to drink green tea and to try to stay away from black tea.

Well, it's hard to say. Herbal tea is probably better than regular tea and coffee because it has no caffeine. But, in moderation, tea and coffee both have health benefits.

Water! When you get dependent on stimulants then you need them just to function in everyday life. I sometimes drink tea and I only touch coffee once every 5 years (by my calculations). I use my natural energy to get up and do the stuff I need.

In fact *looks around* I don't even have a coffee maker. :-D I have a tea kettle.

Tea is better for you because it contains antioxidants that are supplemental to good health. Herbal tea is the best for you, though, because it is completely natural and caffeine free. I recommend peppermint. I know it's hard, but get off the caffeine ASAP. It dehydrates your body, and although you may experience headaches immediately after giving it up, you will sleep better.
