Double chins tend to be associated with weight gain and/or aging but they may also occur as an inherited characteristic. Like any other part of the body the chin is prone to laying down fat, therefore the most common reason for getting a double chin is too much fat being stored below the jaw.
change your diet to one of high fiber and low calorie. Eat plenty of fruit and fresh vegetables.
Exercise by opening your mouth very wide and pushing your lower jaw forward and then upwards so your bottom teeth extend over the top of your upper lip. Do this 10-15 times and repeat 3-4 times a day. Like all exercise you may need to build up to the maximum number, so don't strain.
Follow your jaw exercise by moderate slapping under the jaw line. Keep this up for a couple of minutes each time.
Beyond these home remedies a thriving market exists in devices and techniques designed to tone and tighten the jaw. However, the most decisive way of removing a double chin is by surgery and specifically via submental lipectomy. More commonly known as a 'neck lift' the standard procedure can be carried out as an outpatient and involves a small incision under the chin. The fat is then sucked out. More complex procedures may involve surgery on muscles or even chin implants
but no need to go for surgery...try home remedies..iam sure you will regain your cute cheeks and chin back
Good Luck

You don’t need to exercise for long periods of time. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results when you work hard. Get a passing up rope, skip for two a few minutes, do push ups for 60 seconds or so, skip for two minutes, rest for just one minute. Then change the push around something else like sit ups and do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s an instant, effective workout that will progress results than a long manage or swim.

Mustard is a secret bulge-buster. That boosts your metabolism and boosts natural ephadrine, the hormone of which burns fat. According to Jeya Holly, professor of human nutrition at Oxford Brookes University, just a tablespoon as part of your food can reduce a flabby waist by 20 per cent!

Hi,
There was an exercise that the doctor recommended to my friend when she had got over glandular fever to the reduce her swollen chin. You have to pull your bottom teeth up over your top lip, hold for 5 seconds and release. Repeat as necessary.
Apart from that I agree that drinking plenty of water will help remove the toxins that are causing it.
Good Luck

ok how bad is this?
its true that double chins can be inherited. scary innit? but if one of your parents or both of them have a double chin and one or both of their parents have one there is a 50-75% chance you will get one.
if they havent got double chins then maybe losing a bit of weight will help. people put on weight in different areas. other than that there is surgury.
and stay off the alcohol as that can put weight on your cheeks...

Go bland. Plain, basic, unseasoned food such as prepared chicken, plain rice and a bare baked potato are nutritious your palette will tire of these individuals quickly, unlike salty moreish highly processed food, which keeps you snacking and piling on the pounds.

Music makes you eat more. According to a report by the journal Psychology along with Marketing, soft, classical tunes encourage you to definitely take time over your meal, so you consume more foodstuff. So, switch off – silence will make you more aware of what you’re setting up your mouth.

Set performance-based goals. Always set yourself incrementally larger goals each week to be sure you’re engaged and have something to strive for. Each little achievement is also an incentive that you’re going in the right direction. From doing 10 more squats to mastering a whole new yoga pose, whatever floats your boat.
