There most definitely is a law if you're renting or receiving public assistant. The law says it's against the law plan and simple.

I don't know what the state or city law on that would be you would need to contact legal aid or someone to see if they could tell you.I know that in most states if child protective services found out that a child over the age three were sleeping in the same room with their parents or another child over the same age but a different sex that they would remove the children from the home in some cases they give you a small amount of time to find someplace big enough so the girls and boys aren't sharing the same room. Before they take them.

If sex is involved, obviously it's a problem, but you didn't specify that as a problem.
If the threesome are siblings, it's not an issue. Could be a space problem in the home, they do have to sleep somewhere and money and home space may be limited, therefore they all share one bedroom in the home. Whether they are visiting relatives or the children of close family friends who have to temporarily bunk in the same room, it still shouldn't be an issue, if privacy is respected and parents are nearby. Sometimes families have to make due with what they can afford..housing-wise. Is this an ideal situation, no. But the family may not have many choices right now. Don't assume the worst.

Hi, i think this is about the right age. I didnt know there was one but there is apprantly. As you teenages girls are growing up then need there own space and so does your son, so may be you might need to get another room. I dont think you can get done for it if there is little room in your home. I think someone just recommeded certain ages i think the age is 10 i dont really know
. Ive just had a look and about 8-9 years of age is when you have to seperate your children as its Illegal or something for different sexes to share the same room. But I did read that was in the US, and with Foster parents. But i remeber my parents mentioning it to me a while a go that if you are brother and sister when you get to a certain age you cant sleep in the same room.

remember that if you decide to use the law then the law can work in a way that you might not even thought off,I'm not sure that any law exists on age and room shear,if your in a council rented house the number of rooms will give a total, if outside then you must decide how much can be afforded in rent, a social worker could be put in charge of you case and they would decide if any action was to take place you or your brother could be taken into care,so think before taking any action, its like being in the army your told all the time to do

I dont think there is a law. If they are brother and sisters, I dont think there is a probelm. If they are not brother and sisters, arrangements needs to be made for different rooms. (My sister who is 12 shares a room with my brother who is 13. They respect each others privacy and knock before the other enters.)
I do think that there needs to be arrangements made for the two girls though. Just because of how much older they are than the boy.

my understanding of this is that when a boy reaches 7 he is not allowed to share a room with a girl on a permanant basis.
this is based on a friend of mines experience. she had two children, a boy and a younger girl living in a two bedroom house. she informed the council that her little boy was going to be 7 and they moved her to a three bedroom property.
if it is only a short term arrangement tho, it isn't a problem.
hope this helps

I do not believe that there is a law against it. Three children, only two of them being of the same gender, sleeping in the same room is not uncommon among many households if the children in question are siblings or close relatives, such as cousins.

For them to sleep in the same room is not against the law except if they gets undressed and dressed in the same room while the others are there then it's against the law because then they reveal their private parts to each other which can result in you know what. The International Children Corporation made that law because parents let children do just that.

boy oh boy you need them parted ,its not on at all ,if this is your situaltion tell you council to move you ,the girls are becoming young ladys and the boy could already be sexually active ,ive known an 8 year old many years ago trying to make love to his 5 year old sister ,thing is kids will exsperiment and they are all too young its breaking the law which i think is the boy is ok till he 8 then needs his own space or share with another boy,you need to get this sorted ,or give your room up so the girls can have it and you sleep in the livingroom

hi there,
my friend has this problem at the moment
the law states that 2 of the same sex can share for as long as they want , but a boy and girl can only share untill the age of 13.
with my friends local council they allow 2 of the same sex share or 1 of each sex up the the age of 13 share , but not 3 in a room , a house with another bedroom is needed
