My fiance John and I are getting married on May 20, 2008 and I have no idea to even to begin to pick out colors. For our wedding I know he will be wearing his Class A's aka Dress Blues, because he is in the Marines. I was wondering what the best colors would be for a May wedding.

After googling the marine dress blues, I'd say blue/purple hydrangeas (and similar colors in other aspects of your wedding)and a nice pink color.

My fiance and I are getting married May 17, 2008 and our colors are Dessert Blue and Champagne. Some people feel that nice pastel colors are good or some nice vibrant colors would also be good. I think if your fiance is wearing his Dress Blues, you need to find colors that would complement them for the wedding. I hope that helps.

David's Bridal just released their new colors for Spring and they are beautiful. Pale pinks, Clover greens, Periwinkle blues, Azalea, Pool blue, Palm Beach Coral, and a sweet Canary yellow. My wedding is in April and we are going for the Clover green, is a nice refreshing color, makes me think of limeade for some reason. For a groom that will be wearing his Class A's, I would suggest going a shade of blue for your bridesmaids or even a nice silver tone, these colors would good nicely and they are great Neutral Colors, plus they're always in style. Good Luck !

pastels are best. i am getting married may 11, 2007 in Key west with my family and friends. Our wedding colors are white , coral and lime. Our flowers are white calla lillies. It depends on several factors: location, our skin tones, your bridesmaid skin tones, night, or day, inside or outside. I changed my mind a lot. After I found the bridemaid dresses, and my dress then decided on colors. It will come to you. CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING ENGAGED AND FINDING YOUR SOUL MATE! HOW EXCITING!!!!!!

Jenn you don't have to chose a colour for the month or season. You and your fiance can chose a colour you both love. Remember take your time and chose wisely. You have enough time also that is your special day for you and your fiance, no one elses.
