All those questions you can ask yourself, and your answers are imaginary.
The Bible says "dust unto dust, ashes unto ashes" you got a problem with that?

Nice grammar, by the way. I suppose God grants wisdom to all his followers equally.
You have it wrong. Atheists believe that there is no higher power, nothing else in the universe but what we can observe. Your description is that of an agnostic, or one who simply does not believe in any particular deity but believes that there may just be some intangible force in the universe that no one understands yet.
So to answer your questions:
1. Yes, I believe in something better than God- myself and my own abilities, and my capacity to learn.
2 & 5. If I knew why I was on this planet, life wouldn't hold many surprises or discoveries for me, would it? The odds of anyone knowing their true purpose for existence is only 8 billion to 1, kind of like winning the lottery, so I don't put a lot of energy into pondering my existence.
3 & 4. Thirty-five years ago, my mother got pregnant, and I was the result. Anything before "I wuz a sperm" has nothing to do with me, and I am unaware of any further consciousness that explains it. I am here now, and plan to make the most of my life.
Did you have a point to make?

Sounds like you have Agnosticism and Atheism confused.
Yes, I believe in myself. I was unlucky enough to be born a human being instead of being born a rat or cow. Im here because thats the course time has taken, I do not exactly know why I or any animal on earth is here, but hopefully science will help us understand. I came from the first living organisms that appeared on earth. My purpose is self indulgement, self gratification, and self happiness, making my time here on earth worth living instead of worshipping any gods. I do not waste my time worshipping superstitious gods and always wondering if what im doing is against my religion. Atheism is a freedom I never had while I was a Christian.
Hail Satan.

1. Thousands of years of theology have not produced one single speck of evidence for the existence of any god (or gods.)
2. I am here to do the best I can for my fellow human beings.
3. I am the child of my parents.
As to "created," I don't know what you're referring to. Neither of us has ever witnessed, or knew of an act of "creation." When a person builds a table, or a watch, we sometimes say he has "created" something. But all that he's done is reorganize existing meterials. He's created nothing.

We all come from the same place. You seem kinda confused - atheists aren't a different race. We just don't think we were created - we don't feel that we are special. Why do you need a purpose or a reason to be alive?
Sure, I believe in other things. But not without reason.

Science.
Chance.
That's why I'm here.
That's why being an atheist is even more amazing than being a Christian.
It is SO COOL that I am here ENTIRELY by chance.
You're confusing cause and effect. People don't turn Christian because God put them here. People say God put them here because they are Christian. It's just wishful thinking. They only feel they need a purpose, so they make one up.

I don't believe I have a purpose other than that which I define for myself - to make a positive impact on the people I meet in life, and hopefully on the world in general. I don't think there is a "who" behind my creation, other than in the sense you mention - my parents had sex one night and bang! I was conceived.I don't believe in anything in the sense you mean - no great power, no movie-style purpose that wraps everything up and makes sense of it. I think we just live...and then die...and I don't believe it has to make sense, or be fair, or any of that.
Peace.

Fair questions, all. Biologically, I exist to reproduce. (Done that.) My purpose beyond that -- I quote Carl Sagan: "If you want your life to have significance, do something significant." I believe that it is possible to acquire an excellent (though probably incomplete) knowledge of how the world works, and how to turn the rules of such working to human advantage. I have spent much of my life attempting to do just that, with some success.

I am a Secular Humanist. There is information about that here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secular_humanism
I am here as a human being. My parents created me, and before that I was nothing. My purpose is to be a good person.

I don't believe in god or in some power, I believe that everything is in my own hands
and I have more important problems than worrying about who created me and where I came from
if that is ALL what you religious people are worried about - then I'm sorry for you
