Nothing...there's nothing in vasoline to cause it to be harmful if used after the date...it just may not be as 'fresh'...

I didnt even know it had an experation date.lol!!! I would guess it would just get hard and yucky after awhile.Or maybe it gets watery. Its not like a medicine or food so I dont see how it would need an experiation date on it.
