It has already started. It started the moment humans set foot on this earth. Burning trees for fires, and so on. But the problem has really magnified in the 20th century. I guess the disastrous effects (major flooding, Ice Age of Europe, more violent weather) are going to start in 20 to 50 years.

Global warming and global cooling have been cycling for billions of years.

Currently, we are in a MILD warming phase. However, it seems to be subsiding, and we will probably begin cooling in the next 100 years or so.

The much touted disaster from GW is not likely to occur, although it is possible, but man never caused it, nor could we ever have prevented it.

It already has started. Slowly, carbon dioxide emissions are building up in our atmosphere and destroying our ozone, creating more of a greenhouse effect (heat goes in but can't get out), causing a slight rise in worldwide temperatures.

It started decades ago. The glaciers have been shrinking and the actic permafrost (that's "perma-" as in "permanent") has started melting. You should pay more attention.
