I have a painless nodule on my foot. It doesn't look malicious but I don't know...I haven't consulted a doctor since it's not causing me any problem. Mum said her sister had those too and rubbed them over a period of time to make them disappear and suggested I try my luck. However, rubbing foot is really not very inconvenient. Does anyone have a better suggestion?

a soft to firm touch could suggest a lipoma (fat pad) under the skin. If it is on a spot where you put pressure, it could be thickened skin. If it is none of these it could still be not a concern but you could still go in for a few minutes appointment for the doctor to see and say "does not look concerning", otherwise if it does not bother or change, watchful waiting is ok too, good luck
