I'm planning a trip with some family and wanted to know some good pizza places in Chicago; any suggestions would be helpful as well as what kind of pizza to get.

I definitely recommend Lou Malnati's Pizzerias. No questions. If you are going to be in Chicago, check out the one on Wells street. I personally like the one in Naperville downtown the best but it's about 35 minutes drive. I also recommend getting Deep Dish Cheese Pizza with any of extra ingredients that you can add (including extra tomato sauce which Malnati brothers personally make each year).

Lou Malnati's! I've eaten at Pizzeria Due and it was so unmemorable that I don't even remember what I had. True Chicago pizza is at Lou Malnati's. (That's what my Chicago friends told me after they found out I ate at Due.)
