It is always SAD to kill or be killed.

My son just got back from Iraq. He went through classes to help with emotions and feelings of sadness and guilt.

Sadness for the losses in this war and guilt because he commanded his troops to kill or be killed. It is not easy to ask others to kill and to be a part of removing lives from this earth. As a commander it was his jobs to keep his troops safe and the billions in milary equipment safe. He saw Iraqis die and children die. He saw children shooting guns and had to order them to be taken out. How can that make anyone feel happy. Sadness is a part of war and only peace in this world will liberate us all.

We are all connected, as human beings.

War is sad for mankind and for flora and fauna too. It's never useful even to the side whose won as so many resources, lives, money and time which could have put in to better use are lost. Things lost never come back.

Ummm, yes.

I support President Bush and what we're doing in Iraq. Doesn't mean I'm HAPPY we're at war.

Anytime someone is killed there (with the exception of Saddam and the insurgents) I'm filled with sadness.

War is always sad because there are always casualties. Many of them innocent people who don't even know what the war is being fought over.

So sad....

Think about the cost of war. No, not as in monetary but in the wide span of families, think how many fathers are there in war fighting. And all the separation and they just and do not know if there are going to see their family again.
