Nah, hurting Saddam as we execute him would be cruel and unusual punishment.
I hope his 72-year-old virgin is a harpy, haranguing and badgering his soul for all eternity.
I danced in the streets this morning, singing
"Ding-dong, Saddam is dead,
which Saddam,
Iraq's Saddam,
Ding-dong, Saddam Hussein is dead!"

Am glad he is gone, no to if it hurt him. Would not wish that on any human being. He should have been made to do 5 years hard labour first, then hanged. Took the cowards way out. He caused thousands of deaths and destroyed millions of families. Watch out for the supporters. Usual crap will happen. car bombs etc

Given the current events in Iraq, sadly not. Yes he should have been tried and sentenced but the time was all wrong when (SOS but I'm British) British and American soldiers are trying to sort out the **** Bush 'n' Blair have got us into in Iraq and I can totally sympathise with the Iraqi's wanting quick justice. Yep I hope he Burns in hell but there is a time and a place and I feel this was rushed

There is no pain in death.
I believe Saddam was a hard fist dictator who ruled his country with a iron fist. But now we are finding out why. This seems to be the only way to keep the Iraqis in control. The only thing they understand is death of them and their family. I believe he knew what his people are capable of and knew the only way to keep them inline is by shear POWER.
Yes, he committed acts of violence against his people but I feel he had nothing to do with 9/11. And I do give him credit in the end for him to tell the Iraqis "To do us no Harm". This was a dying wish.
Bin Laden is the Evil we must persue. He hates all Americans and is building a force more powerful than Saddam ever was. We need to flush him out and hang him.

Plus i had a foul dream approximately him that evening after he have been hung. in the dream i observed him excellent from the noose. And bugs and junk flying around him. and then his eyes moved and he became his head to verify me. (AHHHH!) and then the bugs fell to the floor, they have been apparently lifeless. And the rope broke and he have been given of the noose and chased me. I have been given caught and he knocked me out and the subsequent element i understand i replaced into on a torture table with him status over me. Then I awoke. Oh guy that replaced into creepy

i always thought that death was just another journey and there is nothing horrible about it. i always thought that living on an on would be worse because. you have to suffer with ur wrong doings. he killed alot of innocent people and i dont think he was punished enough, he was hung a Long an painful death, but does that really make up for all of those poor people who had to suffer through him??! im glad hes gone but there are more people out there like him, its not over yet

Imposed death upon any one is unacceptable. No, how can one get joy out of the sadness, death and destruction of others?
Those who rejoice are no better than the man they executed. However, it is sad to think that they have just as much (even more) viciousness, guile and hatred that they allegedly claim Saddam had.

Yes. It's nice that he's dead and I wonder how on earth he called himself a martyr.
