If it is nice loose tea (rather than dust or - worse - bags) it should be good quality, and treated carefully..
Boil a kettle of water.
Put a small amount of leaves into a teapot - one or two teaspoons only... none of that "+one for the pot nonsense".
After the water has boiled, leave it for one minute before pouring onto the leaves. This will prevent the tea being too bitter.
Leave to infuse for a few minutes.
Pour into a cup.
The tea should be very light in colour and have a slightly smokey scent.
A slice of lemon can be nice... but NEVER milk.

Only English Breakfast tea should be drunk with milk - all others should be drunk black. Personally I think that also applies to lemon. Lapsang Souchong has got a strong flavour though so I tend to have it very weak, and definitely black. Enjoy!

Black - you could put some lemon juice in it, but definitely no sugar or milk.

Absolutely no reason not to add milk to Lapsang, though I wouldn't with Oolong.

I think that you should try it black. I've had it white and it was okay but try it black.
Also if you can try a nice cup of Chai, very nice and have that with milk

Really it should be taken black. Leave it in for longer to get a more smoky flavour, or shorter for a more subtle taste.
