Forget about it- once you start, it is so hard to stop- then you end up with two tone of crazy colored hair. Be happy with what God gave you.

Why do you want to color it. Keep in mind if you get a permanent hair color you will have roots to take care of for ever or unless you get it all cut off. A color rinse might be the way to go. What color is your hair now. If it is dark some thing like (cherry cola) it looked great on my daughter-in-law. Last 4-6 weeks and fades away. She had it done at a salon not home. If at home check the box to make sure it says temporary

I agree make sure you get more than one box with that long hair!!

The new hair color should enhance what you have not shock the world into a new color. Ideas are based on your skin tone, the color that it is already, etc. I am a medium brunette and went completely black(Insane moment of time) and the color had to be stripped out of my hair which was a long and tedious process. I would go a few shades darker or lighter than your natural color or add highlights. I like to go lighter in the summer for a sun-kissed look and sometimes go darker in the winter. Long hair-like mine and yours-takes extra product. If you are going to color-do not attempt it yourself the first time you try it. Go to a reputable stylist who can help you determine the best color for you. Hope that helps!

What ever color you get depends on your skin complexion. This color has to bring out your face along with other facial features. The best way to do this is to lighten up meaning the color of your hair lighter then what it is now. Light brown , Golden brown, etc. They also have colors with highlights all in one. That can help to.

hi i have had blonde highlights for 4 years and then just started having brown highlights put in to look more natural because my natural colour is brunette, brown hair is still in fashion so i recomend that or maybe red? Blonde is more for the summer and black is being used by emos and goths at the moment, no affence to them because i have many friends that are emo but i am more girly lol, anyway i think your hair in a way should reflect your personality so goooooooood luck with your choice!!

Why not go for high lights..or low lights in stead? It would add some oomph and depth to your style now..which seems from your description, that it is lacking a bit of something. If you colour it, you will have the same thing..but in a different col or!..With your long hair..once roots start showing, it will look even worse.

if you have blonde hair that will naturally get bleached by the actual sun in the summer. There had been this guy in my class who had golden blonde hair that was a medium brown near the bottom. When he came back to college after summer vacation, it was nearly platinum blonde!

Jet black hair. I have truly dark brown hair and I think dark hair looks better. I avoid really like blonde hair.
